Our health depends hugely on the quality of food that we eat. The quality of the food we grow from the ground is directly proportional to the fertility of the soil. If we do not have access to these, what symptoms may we display?

But it is not only humans that depend on fertile soil for their well-being – plants also do. What makes some soil fertile and others not?

Explain the role of the four seasons to encourage renewal and growth.

How do we measure wind, rain and temperature?

Explain why some types of soils are more prone to erosion than others.

When the resources that we use are of good quality and the services we receive are reliable then our community is advancing positively and our standard of living as well. Think of ways you can contribute to the well-being of your community by:
• acquiring and growing certain entrepreneurial  skills to supply in specific needs of the community
• alerting government of services and resources that are being abused or are not in good order
Consider the wasteful actions from members coming from high income groups to the actions of people from lower income groups. Compare the amount of electricity and water each consume as well as the amount of waste that they produce.

Identify an entrepreneur in your community that is contributing towards environmental sustainability and human safety. Mention the labour that is required to make his/her venture succeed, the recourses needed and the amount of capital he/she would have to borrow.
Technology
